Arena Maintenance & Renovations

If you have an existing horse arena that is in need of some sprucing up, we can help too!  Not only can we create horse arenas from scratch, but we can also restore your arena to its former glory, regardless of the type of arena or arena surface that you have.

Sometimes when geo-textile fibre arenas have been unmaintained for a long period of time, or if they have been incorrectly groomed, the sand can become separated from the fibre additive.  In such situations, after assessing your arena, we can bring in one of our specialist machines and rejuvenate the surface.

Sawdust arenas may also require some maintenance when they become too compacted or when the top starts to break down and turn into a very fine dusty powder.  Rest assured, we will be able to discuss appropriate solutions with you to refresh the surface so that you are able to enjoy riding on it again.

Any horse arena that has been improperly maintained may become too shallow in some areas and too deep in others.  This is a common problem with sand arenas, whereby environmental conditions such as wind and erosion may cause them to become an uneven consistency over a course of time.  Alternatively,  this occurs when arenas have been poorly maintained, often by arena groomers, gates or chains dragging the surface from one side of the arena to the other.  Consequently when this happens, you may find your base coming up into the surface and possibly contaminating it with rock and stone.  If this is the case, we have the knowledge and expertise to advise you on the best option for you, and even fix it for you!

We can also come to the rescue and fully renovate existing arenas that have been improperly constructed with an incorrect base, inappropriate heights and levels or drainage problems.  If you would like to know more about our arena maintenance services, please feel free to contact us!
